Default Modifying 6904 magazines

I just got a great deal on a 6904, but because I live in NY state I have to modify the magazines to only carry 10 instead of 12 before I can pick it up. Mag Block does not have one for that modification, but they have one for a 5906. A call to S&W said that it would fit but it would bring the ammo count down to 7 which I will not do. Does anyone have another solution. I'm thinking I could modify the one they have to make the count 10.

Maybe the one for the 5906 can be sanded down to accommodate 10 rounds instead of 7? That would be my first approach or just go to a different weapon.

You could move to a more free state and not worry about it.

I'm thinking the same thing. Looks like an easy modification. I ordered the blocks from Mag Block a few minutes ago. Thanks for answering.

That's in the near future. Very tired of this liberal state. Been here 68 years. Had enough.
