Is the cylinder stop on a M36 considered a drop in part?

Most are, but any part can need fitting, depending on the tolerances of all parts involved. Every gun is an individual.

It is not considered a "drop in" part. The ball of the stop will need to be fit, or at least confirmed to fit the stop slots in the cylinder, and the bevel may need to be fit to the trigger hook.
