Default 686-6 plus , target hammer

I've been lurking around for a while , finally joined to ask a question . I just picked up a 686 plus and want to put a .500 wide target hammer on it , just wondering if someone could tell me if s&w part # 293660000 will work. thanks in advance

Yes it should. The S&W parts catalog shows (3) different hammer sizes available for the 686; .265", .375" & .500", which is the PN# you mentioned. Enjoy! & Welcome!

Keep in mind the hammer is not considered a "drop in" part, and may need to be fit to your gun.
