Default L frame lockwork parts sizes?

Kind of an oddball question here: When the L frame was introduced, did it get its own frame-specific sized lockwork parts (hammers, triggers, etc.), or did it use lockwork parts from either the previous K and/or N frames?

If memory serves me correctly, the L frame retained the K frame's grip shape and size, but that doesn't mean that the lockwork part sizes weren't unique. Of course, even if existing K/N part sizes were used with the L frame, that doesn't mean that any part (even of the right size and appropriate engineering change) would just drop-in, given the amount of hand-fitting which used to be done with all of the revolvers.

Thanks in advance for your insights!

L Frame hammer is specific to L Frame guns. Trigger is the same on K L N Frame guns at least in the forged era.

The old hammer, hammer block and hand are all size specific on K,L, & N frames, due to the larger or smaller diameter cylinders. The hammer has to reach the top chamber of the cylinder. The hand has to reach the center pin area. These are what I call the "vertical" parts.
The new, firing pin in frame, hammers are the same for K & L and the same for N & X frames.

The trigger, rebound slide, and cylinder stop are the same for K,L,N & X frame old and new. These are what I call the "horizontal" parts.

The grip frame of the K,L, and X are the same. The N is larger.

I hope you will find this information helpful.
