My rear sight plate plate came off along with the screw and the spring on my 627 performance. Called S&W and they are sending out a new set but and wondering if they are going to send me out a standard sight with the white outline. Where can I get the original rear sight blade if they send the generic one.

Are you not wanting the white outline, or what is the problem? If you get a white outline and you wanted black, just turn the sight blade around. The w/o will be to the front, black will be to the back.

To order a replacement you'll first need to know/measure you're existing blade as there are several heights.

I doubt they will send you a "generic" blade if you told me exactly which model, & barrel length, you have. Do you have the 2-1/2" or 5" barrel model?
