Neat. Someone needs to come up with a set of a handle and a set of caliber specific spuds .

EWK is still not shipping outside the US. Has anybody found a dealer that ships the TRR8 barrel wrench to Europe?

I always figured you could remove a 2 piece barrel by plugging the forcing cone warming the barrel to 300 f and filling it with low temp solder and a piece of brass square stock that would just fit down the barrel. In the case of a 357 that would be 1/4" x1/4" But it would give you a way to turn the barrel, Plenty of solders melt under 300f and would clean out after your done with a brass brush while above melting point.
A 44 (.429)would only take 1/4" also.
A 45 would take 5/16"

Cerrosafe (sp?) chamber cast metal melts at 200*F. (Boiling Water)
That'd probably work OK for your method.
I use it often to reinforce flimsy/thin pieces when engraving them.
I admit I had no idea what a 'Smith & Wesson TRR8 327 Barrel Nut Wrench Tool' was till I read the part about a 2 piece bbl.
Then I caught on.
...Pretty sharp tonite....
