M586 6" barrel rear sight blade height?
Anyone have a measurement on the rear sight blade for a 6" M586/686?
Looking to replace one for a friend, don't have a stock 6" to measure at the moment.

Thank you, do you know if that holds for all engineering changes?
I see Brownells has that for the -4 and later models.
I don't know what engineering change my friend has, waiting on confirmation on that now.

Appears so, but my list only goes to the dash 4. See the attached image...

All the 586 and 686 guns probably have the same factory sights, at least for a given barrel length.
