Default Sear dammage

Has anyone had this issue? Just bought this m&p 9mm 2.0 compact. I put 400 rounds thru it and when I cleaned it noticed the sear had what looks like a pit in the front top surface. I will give Smith and Wesson a call and have a new one sent.

Look at it with a jewelers loupe, blown up it looks like a roll pin! And, no, I have no idea why there would be a roll pin in that location, but that is what appears to be!

OTHERS HAVE POSTED IN YOUR OTHER POST!
