Help Identify These Parts - Thumbpieces

I think the top set in the pic's are mid to late 70's 29-2 nickel thumbpieces - with the flat-head screw stamp but not feeling 100% sure. Do the top two in the 1st and 2nd pictures look identical, or am I seeing some difference because of the angle, and staring at them too long ?
The set on the bottom of both pic's, with the split lug, is a mystery for me.
Can anyone confirm either or both?
A comparison top/bottom photo, if someone is willing to post one, of an original factory 1979, or there about, of 29-2 thumbpiece would be a big help. I want to make sure I buy the correct one to solve my issue I posted about the other day.

If you are still looking in about a week or so, I will be back at the house from the rig. I have several model 27's from around 1973 to the mid 80's that I can pull the cylinder releases from and take pics for you if someone hasn't been able to help you by then. I still have a week left on my hitch here at the rig by Midland, TX, which is roughly 750 miles from my house. I would think all N frame revolvers from that era should be using the same cylinder releases as the model 29's.

Thanks so much for offering to do that. Yes, please do when you get home... unless someone else is willing to un-screw a couple of thumpieces and post some photos of them... then you're off the hook my friend ;-) This no-big-deal project morphed into mission for me and I just want to get it done correctly. She's a great collector gun and close to perfect, except for this thumb-part debacle. I'd just like to see it restored with the correct era part it originally shipped with.

The top two look to be cast parts (MIM). The bottom two might be cast also, but the funk on them makes it hard to be sure. Unfortunately, I don't have any nickel guns to compare parts on.

FYI the "Interesting or odd - hand fitted thumb-piece" thread on this forum shows a good pic of the mold line on the back side of a MIM thumbpiece.

Yeah, that was what I was thinking too, Toolguy. That design looks older than any I have on my guns, from what I can remember of them.

I believe that's correct. the split lug fits on an older style
bolt with a raised portion below the threads for the nut.
And the research I did show both versions as old style forged... neither is MIM. the "flat-head screw" is a milled stamp... not a mold mark.
