I have a 625JM on the way on a trade. The prior owner had much custom gunsmithing done. One is a reverse crown. What is that all about.
The revolver is what I want for IDPA entry level. I almost shoot revolvers only. Had a 1911 and did all that modification stuff for competition and was not happy.
Just confused about the reverse crown. I am petty basic.
A lot of shooters who want increased accuracy will have a target crown done. This usually starts with a small rim and then a 7 degree slope to the bore. This helps protect the bore at the muzzle and the bullet exits true. As the above stated, if it's done right by a competent gunsmith.
