Default Reasonable prices on K-frame sideplate/yoke screws?

I just came into several 1950s K-frames with boogered sideplate/yoke screw head slots (one was split). Any ideas where I can find some new or at least good condition round-head blued screws at a sane price? I don't see any of the earlier screws listed at Midway or Brownell's websites which I found surprising. I would like at least two, would take three or four. Quite a few are listed on eBay, but I blanch at the idea of paying $8-$10 per screw. Or is anyone here willing to sell me some?

The best places to find them reasonably is at local gun shows. There is almost always a "parts guy" there and most of the parts I've seen at these shows are actually genuine OEM.

If you want them sooner look on ebay - just read the ads carefully for the description.

Jack First (Rapid City, SD) should have them but I don't know his prices. 605-343-8481

I don't know their prices:

George Dye (at David Carroll's) for old Smith parts, sight blades, etc.
‘GeorgeinSD’ is George Dye---205 502-2026 in Birmingham

GUN GARAGE on Ebay (for screws)
gungarage | eBay Stores

"elysianfield!" on Ebay, lanyard swivel $20 shipped and nicely blued. Specify for S&W

"Aonepawninc" aonepawninc | eBay Stores
has a bunch of old S&W parts for sale. I just ordered a complete hammer for my pre model 30 from them. They are very customer oriented and have very reasonable prices.

Numrich/ Gun Parts Corp shows some stock on the blue crowned screws, such as used as the yoke retention screws. $2.60 each for used and $3.90 each for new. I looked under a model 10-1 to look at the screws. They even show stock on nickel plated yoke screws at the same new price.

DWalt - sometimes the Buggered up screw Heads can be repaired to look almost as good as new if you have patience , skills and some basic hand tools. The head is gently hammered back into shape, then dressed with a File, Dremel and Arkansas Stone and then re-blued. Slots can be re-cut with a Dremel Cut-off wheel or a Jeweler's Saw Blade.

If some part of the screw head is missing or as you state split - then of course you are just plain out of luck, but if after you replace them all you want to "play", its a great way to perfect this technique.
