Model 12
I picked up a badly corroded model 12 aluminum or alloy 38sp. Don't ask me why. Anyway, this has less scrap value than collector value. My question is cylinder replacement. Do other cylinders like model 15, 14 10 or anything fit this if a 12 is not available?

Yes. Any of those from the same era (using the same kind of gas ring for your yoke) or swapping both the yoke and cylinder from a later gun. Minor fitting will likely be required unless you're very, very lucky. In which case, you should by a lottery ticket, too.
Sounds like a good project to spray n bake with a modern finish for a great carry or truck gun.

Actually, NO. Airweight cylinders are about 3/16" longer than those in the steel K-frame models. A Model 19 cylinder will be much closer, but for what should be obvious reasons a .357 Magnum cylinder would not be appropriate for an alloy frame!
Sometimes salvaged "Parts kits" for airweights are available, just like for steel frame guns.
