Default Tyler attachment tab Question

I was looking at my Tyler T-Grips and noticed that the Copper tabs are two pieces made like an L and riveted on mine and in some photos I have seen it looks los one piece of copper formed like a flat bottomed U and riveted.

It seems like the two pc tab assy ones are all older ones ( that came in the little white box)

Anyone know, was there a time frame when two pcs of Copper was used instead of one pc or did it just depend on whet copper stock Tyler was using at the time?

Were the older ones always made with the two separate L shaped tabs stacked and riveted?

It does not appear to matter which method as both attach securely without interference.

attached are photos I found that show the difference.
