Who Does Stock Repair Now?
Today I picked up a pre 29 with a set of "cokes" on it. Unfortunately, there is a small piece chipped out of the top inside of the left stock. Is there anyone on this forum that does repair work on these any more?

You might try DWFAN, he does superb work on S&W stocks. I have a set of "cokes" that he refurbished about a year or two ago and they look as if they came right out of the factory.

Agree on DWFAN he has a set of my K frame non relieved that he's restoring for me. He does excellent work but I can't say what his back log is at this time.

I have tried to contact DWFAN both by PM and by email, but have not heard anything back. Perhaps he is so tied up with a backlog that he is not taking any more repair work, or he has gone on vacation, or........ Is there any one else out there who could do good repair work?

You probably won't get a reply until you become a contributing member to this forum. Bronze Level is quite affordable, DWFAN has stated in the past that you must be a contributor to this site to get him to consider any work from you. May sound harsh, but it makes sense if you think about it.
