952 Performance Center parts drawing
Hi,
can somebody help me with a part drawing?
During disassembling I found a part where I do not know where it belongs to, see picture.
Also I have problem to disassemble the drawbar and trigger.
A Part drawing can help, but I found only S&W Model 52-2 on web and this is not similar
to my 952.

Can't help you with a schematic, but that looks like the trigger plunger, part # 06878. (part #77 pictured in the model 52-2 schematic)
Your 952 is structurally very similar to the model 52.
The trigger plunger is installed over a spring in a cavity in the body of the trigger, and is held in place with a pin. This plunger provides tension to the cutaway on the trigger pin, and holds the trigger pin in place in the frame. Perhaps the trigger plunger pin broke and allowed the part to escape? This could also be contributing to your disassembly difficulties.

yes, sir. Depending to the high quality of my 952 and my S&W revolvers
there was no need to post in this forum, and just to talk about we have also forums in Germany where I can post with less writing mistakes.
Thanks all for help and locate the corret part and where it belongs too.
But it is still a mystic for me how to remove the drawbar.
Cheers
Sigi

HI,
in my drawbar is something like a screw, must this be screwed out
to remove the drawbar?
It seems I must order some US allen keys, because nothing fit so far

To remove the drawbar, (which is under pressure from the drawbar spring and plunger) remove the trigger pin from the frame. The pin can be driven out either direction.
While holding the drawbar forward with your fingers, rotate the bottom tang of the trigger slightly forward and down, and remove it (the trigger) from the bottom of the trigger window in the frame. The drawbar can now be removed from the rear of the frame. The drawbar spring and plunger will also come out of it's frame cavity (directly in front of the drawbar) when the drawbar is removed.
