Default Model 52 drawbar function/nomenclature assistance

I was cleaning a model 52 no dash and discovered the drawbar was broken on right side by trigger. To my surprise Numrich had one listed for a model 52 early version. My question is what is the purpose of the hooks at the rear of the drawbar? The broken drawbar had the hooks completely removed, which was my plan with the new part. Thanks in advance for any info and sorry about the upside down pic.
Randy

I've attached the single action drawings. Basically, the broken off tabs are called the drawbar throw notch, which are just in front of the two ledges on the drawbar. The throw notch on the drawbar serves an important purpose at the end of the DA pull, where the hammer cams off of this notch, and heads toward the firing pin. This DA throw notch on the drawbar is redundant in SA.
