Default N Frame and K Frame sight heights

Is there a table anywhere listing which sight height is factory original for various S&W revolvers, i.e.model 27, 8-3/8 inch barrel, 357 Magnum or K-38, 6 inch barrel, 38 Spec.

My 1952 pre model 27 with 6 inch appears to have a .126" height sight as does my 1948 K-38 and K-22 6 inchers.

My 1971 4 inch model 66-1 has .146" high sight

Yes sir, there is a table somewhere. This data is from the S&W parts book........ (mid-90's)

"D&T Frames" = drilled and tapped.

The perceived height conflicts in some of the tables are caused (Ithink) by the different front sights used in the many different models. Be sure to measure and verify!
