The slide stop/ejector assembly, and the individual springs are available at Brownells....and probably other parts suppliers. The only possible problem I can see with ordering the new assembly is there may be minor fitting required, since the ejector is also a part of the assembly.
The new spring could be fit to your current assembly and re-staked, but this would also take some minot fitting and hand work.
It may also be eligible for warranty service, if it is not an older model. If the gun qualifies as being eligible for warranty service, then both the shipping and labor would probably be covered by S&W.
The parts are listed under Brownell's number 77, and 79 on their list in the schematic. The S&W parts numbers are listed in the parts descriptions. Please disregard the four letter word in the link below.
