Default Herrett going out of business????

A friend of mine just told me he was about to order a custom set of grips from Herrett's and was told they are taking no more new custom orders. He got the impression that they are either being sold or will dissolve. Has anyone here heard anything about this? I have lots of Herrett's products and have always been very satisfied with them.
