Grip manufacturers
I am looking for a set of replacement (real) wood grip panels for a K frame square butt. Must be flush with bottom of frame (without me needing to modify), open backstrap and covered frontstrap. With or without fingergrooves. So far Herrett, Altamont, Eagle, Nill Griffe, and Hogue don't have the style and will not custom make a set for me. Ahrends does but is out of business so I am looking around for their "boot grip" which is perfect. Are there any other grip manufacturers that can be recommended? Thanks.

I'm assuming this is because you're looking for a square butt instead of a round butt grip?
While Ahrends is out of business, you might be able to find his grips for sale somewhere, i.e. eBay or one of the auction sites.
Off the top of my head, I know Craig Spegel can make his boot grips for a square butt K-frame, but last I heard his turnaround time is over a year, unless you can find one of his grips for sale somewhere.
BluMagnum grips might be able to help. While they don't offer boot grips, per se, they are open to modifying their designs for customers, so that might be an option. They are expensive though, north of $200, I believe. I don't know what their turnaround time is.
Hope that helps.

Badger comes pretty close; maybe a bit longer than the frame but I'll go with them if nothing else appears. Thanks.

You could buy used or get something over sized and file them down to fit your hand.

I know they don’t get a lot of love here, but some of the grips made in Thailand and sold on eBay. I’ve gotten a couple of sets and they are a good value and close to what I would have designed for myself.

Word on the Oregon coast where Craig Spegal lives is he's mostly retired at this point, only working part time, the backlog well over a year out

Another vote for Altamont.
They were not 100% exactly what I wanted,
but close enough and available, with good service.
