Default M&P9c

I have a M&P9c without a manual safety I would like to add a manual safety to it has anyone done this before.

Although you can remove the safety easily, installing one requires a lot of work and a few new internal parts. You might be better off selling your pistol and buying one with a safety.

Thats what I was afraid of I shoot this one so well I'am afraid the new one won't shoot as well.

I have added and removed many safeties to the M&P series and it is not a big deal for someone who is familiar with these pistols. There is a problem however, if you are adding a safety, your pistol will need to have the correct cutout plugs on both sides of the frame. You can see these plugs from the outside of the pistol, one on each side.
If you have the right frame, you will need to locate these parts: safety lever, safety detent, and detent spring.
