Default Refinishing options for Titanium/Scandium?

After 18 years I am "semi" retiring my 342PD but I'm considering freshening it up a bit first as it got beat up pretty badly over the years. What type of finish do I need for scandium/titanium? It doesn't have to look factory, all one color would be fine with me, the main thing is to cover up all the dings and scratches. About how much would it cost?

Thanks

The titanium cyl finish is part of the cylinder's durability according to the S&W owners manual as I recall. So you don't want to sand out any dings in it or remove the original finish.

Pretty hard to cover dings with a finish. You'll just have to shop around for a price including S&W for a refinish.

About the easiest and least cost is one of the two-part epoxy spray finishes that you can now buy in a can like Durablue although they have different colors. $35 for a can. Once you activate the can with a button on the bottom you have an hour or two to use it.

I would give it a glass bead blast finish.
