Fitting an HBH?
I was fortunate enough to come across this:
If I were to put it into a K-22 Outdoorsman, is it just a matter of transferring the parts from the normal hammer already in there, and dropping this in?
Or is it more involved?

Probably some fitting involved. You won't know till you try it.

Is it a K frame size hammer?
Retaining the hammer fly, (DA sear) from your original hammer which was fitted to the trigger usually works the best.

Yeah, it's a K22 hammer.
Thanks for the info! If I ever find a suitable outdoorsman I will have to see about upgrading it.

Should be a piece 'o cake.
Can't be many of those around!
You could even try it in a K22/Model 17 or Pre/Model 18 by just leaving out the sliding hammer block bar.
