Default changing triggers hammers etc

Is there a source for quality or OEM triggers, hammers and other misc parts? I prefer the smooth combat triggers but have guns with target triggers and the slim serrated triggers. Are these drop in parts or do they have to be fitted?

I think your question needs refined a little,,

Saying trigger could cover, revolvers, autoloaders, shotguns, AR15's,, 1911's,, and ETC,,,,,, S&W and otherwise,,
maybe even BMG?

You might get lucky and get parts that drop in, but more than likely they'll probably need at least a little fitting, especially with pre-MIM guns.

I also decided that a Combat Magnum needed a combat trigger so I ordered one and replaced the standard 0.265” trigger on the pistol with a 0.312” smooth combat trigger. What I learned was, first, get a trigger from the same time period. My revolver is an early M66, so a donor from a M64, 65, 66, or 67 made in the early 70’s will work for me. One from the same model and dash number would be best. The second thing I found out was to use the hand that came with your revolver. The hand is matched to your extractor and a replacement may not work on your revolver.

I’ve done two and am considering another on a M66-1. Good luck!
