Help with locating part
I have a 1911 PC and I need the SS extractor roll pin.
I’ll skip to the chase with the story. It was an operator error.
I need the small roll pin that holds the external extractor in place.
I believe the size is .080.
Do I go through S&W for the part?
Can I just send the slide?
Anybody have the part?
Where I can get one (or 2). No on Brownells
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

They have ejector roll pins a Brownell's, unless you're looking for the specific S&W variety.
If you call S&W Customer Service, they'll probably send you one for free. (have your serial number ready) 800-331-0852

OP is looking for the EXTERNAL EXTRACTOR pin, for the slide...
not the ejector pin, for the frame.
?Is it a ROLL pin, or a SOLID pin?

Excuse me....another senior moment I guess. Who can mix up the word "extractor" vs "ejector"? Must have been the words "roll pin" that threw me off.
All Hands: Please disregard blatantly erroneous post number 2, posted by the old armorer from extreme Southwest Indiana. That is all.
And, as Roseanne Roseannadanna used to say, "It's always something."

The one in the PC is solid .080x .42 (close)
Will a roll pin work?

May I suggest a 5/64" or a 2mm coiled pin? A roll pin is a single layer, where a coiled pin is multiple layers, and much stronger. They also have light, medium, and heavy duty versions of coiled pins, especially in the larger sizes.
A good source for almost anything is McMaster-Carr.

If the pin is missing use a set of gauge pins (or even some new drill bits, and gauge the size of the pin’s hole. Go to a well equipped hardware or industrial supply store and get a roll pin slightly larger than the hole and tap it in with a proper punch. Go out and test fire.
