It's getting close to a month since S&W emailed me to tell me they received my 325 Thunder Ranch for warranty repair. And that was a week after I sent it off. I think I will wait until it has been 30 days before I send them an email. I'm sure they have problems because of the crazy things going on all around us, but I wasn't really happy that I had to send a $1200. pistol off for repair in the first place. How long does this normally take?

I called them a month ago to inquiry about sending a revolver back for warranty work. They said it would be 6 month+ to get it back. I still haven't sent it back yet.

FWIW, several years ago, long before the pandemic, I had a broken 642-1 that S&W replaced under warranty, so not a repair, but IIRC it took about 2 months from sending it in to picking up the new gun at the FFL.
