Default Stock nut repair.

Stock nut on right grip pulled loose. I talked it on thru to the inside. Tried super glue, didn't hold. Suggestions?

I did one before. I used some 2 part epoxy.
I put a release substance like oil or vaseline
inside the threads in the bushing. Then put the screw in the threaded part. Then put the bushing using the screw to push it into the grip. Use the epoxy a little inside the grip with a toothpick first also and carefully put the assembly back into the grip and let it set up til hard.
BE SURE NOT TO GET EPOXY IN THE THREADS AND DO NOT LET THE SCREW GET
BONDED TO THE BUSHING...
Thats about how I did one with success before.
I bought a escutcheon set w screw off a seller
on ebay to have on hand for such endeavors.
The set I bought has the S&W 5-44 screw pitch and escutcheons.
I use the 6P plan on such things😁😁😁
