Default Model 63 Front Sight

I have the model 63 with the hi-viz orange front sight.
I did a stupid thing and dropped the gun on a concrete floor. It hit on the front sight and it is leaning or canted to the right a little as I view the sight picture.
Does anybody know the part no for that sight? Are sights readily available from S&W?
I assume it will need to be removed by removing pin and replacing sight.
Thanks fir your help and ideas.

I don't know what dash number your M63 is - you didn't state that. My original no dash does not have a removable front sight - only a red plastic insert (dovetailed in) that can be replaced. It would help if you are more specific and post a picture. That said, if it is pinned on, then you should be able to replace it.

I'd suggest calling the customer service number at S&W and ask them. Find out your serial number before calling as they will need that.

First thing I would do is to gently bend the sight back to straight up. You may be surprised it just may be just fine.

I have a 63-5 3”, and just replaced mine with basically the same sight only it’s .100 wide (old eyes)instead of the std .125 factory width. I got mine from Dawson Precision for $39.00 plus shipping.
If you have the 3” gun you may be interested in my old one.
