Default SDM Thumb Latch

Installed SDM thumb latch on my 686 no fitting required. Stainless Steel sharper checkering than O.E

I thought about trying them, but never got around to it. IIRC, not only was the checkering sharper and more defined, but my understanding was that the edges around the latch were radiused, or at least not as sharp as the factory latches. I think they also offered both the old and new style latch shapes. It's been at least a few years since I looked at them, so I could be wrong.

Default New SDM thumb release

Installed my new SDM thumb release since I lost my original and have been using a blued(black) thumb release. Top notch quality on the SDM thumb release, as stated prior, sharper edges for a definite better grip which is there for sure. I'm gonna work on polishing because I want it to match. Will make for fast speed/reloads cause your finger will not slip off this.
