Default Creating a Model 65 “Wiley Clapp” Revolver

Old eyes are making sights difficult to see on my 3” Model 65 and 4” Model 64. A solution to the problem would be to install a Novak rear sight and dovetailed front bead sight on these revolvers, making the sights much more visible. Has anyone ever seen this done on a Smith revolver? If so, do you know who did the work? Any info or suggestions of a qualified gunsmith to perform the work would be appreciated. Y’all stay safe and be blessed.

Might ring up Karl Sokol, Chestnut Mountain Sports. I have a night sight being added to a M-12 that should be coming home soon.

I went with a D&L Sports fixed rear sight and had Bruce Warren at BC Armory install a Hiviz fiber optic front sight on my 3" 686...

Very nice looking gun, the sights gives it a combat look. Can definitely see a sight advantage over the original fixed sights. Larry
