Default Buy parts from S&W ?

I just picked up a K frame project and wanted to freshen it up a bit. A few screws, ejector rod, adjustible sight and the like.

I've always dealt with and bought parts from Brownells, Midway, Midwest Gun Works, and US Guns. However none of these vendors have what I need. I even checked Numrich with no luck. Most everything I need is out of stock and some is no backorder.

Can you order parts direct from S&W? Has anyone ordered stuff from them and found items in stock lately? I'm just ready to get my project started.

You can order from them. The Customer Service number is 1-800-331-0852. They will need info on the model number etc., of the gun when you call.

Thanks!

I'll give them a call Monday AM. Maybe I will have some luck and everything will be in stock.

During the 70's and 80's I was able to purchase parts from S&W. About a year ago I called to inquire about parts for a Model 19-3 and was told "we do not sell parts for those guns".

I am curious to learn what your find out after your phone call.

Thanks for the thread replies-

Called Smith & Wesson and they were out of stock like everyone else, but I was very well taken care of by Carolyn. Parts are all on order, and it was a significant savings too.

Win - win for a change!
