Default What is Smith's official name for these M&P 2.0 CORE 10mm parts?

Hi,
When I removed the optic cut cover from my new M&P 2.0 10mm slide I discovered a screw holding a small steel plate over the safety plunger and spring. (See attachment.)

My other M&Ps don't have the top plate and screw. I couldn't find any reference to the plate and screw on the Web.

Does any one know what Smith's official name for the plate and screw are?

BTW, the hex screw takes a 0.050" Allen key. I mention that because I didn't have any Allen keys that fit and had to call Smith's Customer Service line to learn the size of the Allen key.

TIA,
Al
