Which cup tip punches for S&W revolvers?
Want to buy the correct punch/drift to work on Smith & Wesson revolvers. I have found them at Brownells, but I have no clue which sizes to purchase for the following tasks:
Barrel pin
Ejector rod lock pin
Front sight blade pin
If anyone can help with the sizes to buy for these jobs I would be appreciative.
Thanks!

Witch cup tip punches for S&W
Cup tip pinches are greatly used for the earlier S&W for removal. If you are a hobbyist, then purchase a set of regular punches that you will use on most firearms which consists of about seven punches. Punches will, eventually bend or break with excessive hammering. Brownells sells a master punch kit that will take care of any type of punches except non marooning punches that you can purchase on a one-on-one basis. As a gunsmith, I use a great deal of punches and use the broken punches for a particular job that I can make for the particular application. Feel free to call or PM if you need additional information.

When I signed up for a s&w revolver class in N Carolina. ( which they cancelled on me), their tool list included Brownells no. 3 and 6 cup tip punches. Hope that helps.

It's a good idea to purchase the Starter Punch as well as the regular length punch. The Starter Punch is a short (3/8") punch that can take a good blow to start the pin moving. The longer length 'regular' punch may bend or break when hit hard.

Calling Brownell’s is great advice.
Buying from Brownell’s is great advice. Their tools are best quality. Are they USA made? I think so.
Punches bend, break or deform. Brownell’s will replace.
