Default CS-9 Magazine Catch Problem

When I took my CS-9 out of the safe the magazine catch nut and spring dropped to the floor. I felt lucky to have found them. The magazine catch was still in place and sticking through from the right side of the pistol. Does this nut just press onto the end of the release? ... and does the spring go small or large end inward before securing the nut? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Jerry

Hi, Jerry!

The small end of the "tornado" spring goes inward and the large end outward towards the nut.

The nut just presses, or more accurately, pops over the end of the mag release shaft.

There is a caveat.

The plastic nut is designed to be a "one time use" part.

It should be replaced anytime it is removed.

If re-used, it may not stay in place.

John
