Side plates are factory fit. Getting one that just happens to fit correctly is not necessarily going to be an easy thing.

Suggest you get your present side plate laser engraved with the logo.

Here’s the K Frame Sideplate that came to me on a 686.
I was unsuccessful in locating a L Sideplate and sent the Gun to Mass.

Side plates are custom fit - one of the very last operations that are these days. getting one from another gun that fits perfectly is very difficult! There is nothing worse than an ill fitting side-plate on an otherwise beautiful revolver, IMHO.

That sounds like a great option sir - any leads on who does this kind of engraving and about how much it might cost? I'm guessing the mothership is out of the question ...

Side plates are mated to and finish machined with the frame, so finding one that will fit correctly is a roll of the dice.

Since the OP is in Ohio, suggest you search near you. A quick search brought up six gunsmiths in Ohio that do laser engraving.
Here's one I picked at random:
Shooters Firearms
Laser engraving is widely available.
Here is a sample price list from an Oklahoma City store:
Laser Engraving Services
Blue Haven Firearms is now offering Custom Laser Engraving Services.

Deep Text Engraving Starting at $40.00
Standard Logo/Artwork Engraving Starting at $50.00
Deep Logo/Artwork Engraving Starting at $85.00
Handgun Stippling Starting at $120.00
NFA Markings $60.00 (Up to 2 Rows)
