I am thinking of having the barrel of my .357 Mtn Gun cut to 3' or 3.5" . My thinking is that it would be a one of a kind Mountain Gun that would be like an L-frame model 27. Should I do it and who should do the work?

A friend of mine cut the barrel of a model 25 off to 4 inches. If it was for sale I would buy it. Thats how much I like it.
