Not sure I understand the question.
I plan to leave as is. When I get some time, I plan to roll the sharp corners of the frame and then send it off for reanodizing. I plan to keep the frame that factory color (gray or silver).
if I have read correctly, the color to achieve the factory color is clear.
this gun mainly rides in my maxpedition FAT BOY as my back up when on duty. off duty, if the bag goes with me, then I have a gun. if I dont take the bag, it goes in the pocket or a side scabbard.
I doubt it will get alot of holster wear as this is a once a year qual gun. I do dry fire it about one a month.
if the slide gets marked up, I will strip and re bead blast.
thanks to all for the nice comments. I would be afraid to work on others guns in this manner should the dremel slip, or I file too much. the glass bead treatment hides minor flaws.
