I had my ICORE gun cut for moons. I like them just fine. They are picky as to best brass. I use Remington, but Federal fit fine. Winchester is way too tight. You'd have to try others to see. The .38/.357 moons are a lot more expensive and fragile than their .45 ACP counterparts. Sometimes they bend slightly dropping them on the run, especially if they have a few rounds left in them. If I'm loading up for a match, I check them for flat first.
My cylinder was cut by Mark Hartshorne at
Pinnacle High Performance and I was pleased by his workmanship and turn around time. You only have to send the cylinder if you decide to have this done. No need to pay to ship the firearm.
