(S&W 325 Thunder ranch edition) OK this is the first handgun I have owned worth taking care of in my 40 something years. I was just wondering if there are any major dont's as far as this scandium frame is concerned (special cleaners ect.)? I have read the owners manual and nothing really in it except alot of CYA safety precautions.

I have read that the scandiums are clear coated and should not be rubbed with abrasives or strong solvents like Gunscrubber. MPro 7 is a very good cleaner for sensitive parts.
