Posted in the Semi area too, a 990L compact 9mm.
Neither mag, which looks like new, will hold the slide open when empty.
Is it time to go back to Smith? Or were they made like this?
Slide lock is not making contact with follower in mag.Open EMPTY gun and install EMPTY MAG.Look inside and see where slide stop is touching the mag follower...if not touching GENTLY tweek it over to come in contact with mag.
