Default Speaking of Loctite

Would Red Loctite hold a pinned front sight on a 625-8, without the pin being replaced?

Perhaps, but I would opt for a high quality epoxy. Be sure to clean the base of the blade and the ramp before install.

I use PC7....but any high quality two part epoxy will work.

Having your front sight blade suddenly "disappear" is really annoying...
Yup, it will work right up to the round where the front sight disappears!

What possible reason do you have for this? Changing the sight without having the tools or mechanical skill to do it right? If this is the case take the gun to someone who does have the requisite skill and equipment to do it correctly instead of doing a "Mickey Mouse" job of it!

If you insist on gluing it in use the green Loctite "Sleeve Mount"! By the time you buy the "Clean and Prime" and the resin you will have spent just as much as having a gunsmith drill the hole and install the pin!
