Default Looking for a Bully Barrel for a Model 41

I have recently picked up a S&W Model 41, and wanted to get a Bully Barrel for it, however I am not finding it via a google search. Is this no longer being made or can some one point me in the right direction.

Thank you.

I don't know if Ray Brandes is still making these or not . They require a considerable amount of machine work . Alex Hamilton ( Ten Ring Precision ) relined one for me that'll put 10 rounds in .75" @ 50yds . He uses Lothar Walther blanks . Price was quite reasonable as I recall . Don't have an e-mail for Ray & all the old links I had for " Bully Barrels " no longer work . His business phone is ( 850 ) 482-7562 . Be advised some where made with 22CF blanks ( oversized bore & 1-9 twist ) , 22RF usually run .221 bore & slower twist . As I remember test targets weren't that impressive , but barrels were about half of what you'd pay for a Lou Lombardi ( Falcon Machine ) or Clark Custom barrel . That's why I had Hamilton reline my factory barrel & as stated it'll hold the X ring @ 50yds .

Default Lou Lombardi Barrel

My understanding is that Bully Barrels are no longer available for sale and Mr. Lombardi seems to have retired.

However, I have an extra Lombardi barrel for sale. I had him cut down a S&W factory barrel to remove all unnecessary weight and then recrown it. A weaver mount was added. The purpose of making the barrel as light as possible was to be able to use a red dot scope without changing the overall balance of the pistol.

If you are interested, PM me. I can send you pictures and we can go from there.

I have a bully barrel(.22 LR SN 050). Couldn't find anything on it through Google. Can someone tell me a little about it, like what it's worth?

Ray's Bully Barrel, at least mine, has a 1:8 twist, not 1:9.
As they cost about $325.00, there are folks who
would gladly pay over $450.00 for one. If threaded
add more.

But, from those of us lucky to have one, we will never sell,
you would have to pry it loose from our cold, dead Herrett
grips.

Hope this helps.

I was saddened when Lou Lombardi retired. I have one of his barrels for my HS Victor. It will shoot 3/8" at 50 meters. When you mount a red dot on it it brings the gun back up to almost what the gun was originally, about 43 oz. I am no longer capable of getting the best out of it. My "wobble zone" has gotten too far out. Getting older isn't so fun.

With respect to accuracy, I have been very pleased with my 5.5" Clark Custom STC barrel. Finding the right sight for it (for steel) has been an interesting challenge, however. A Burris FastFire III is real nice (especially for the money), but the lens is a little small and it is sometimes hard to find the dot on the draw. I currently use a C-More RTS, which is great EXCEPT that the auto-dimming circuit is horrible - the dot is WAY too bright in anything but daylight. The sight is unusable on an indoor range unless you put some tape over the photocell.
