ICORE holster
I'm looking for a holster to use for ICORE and USPSA Revolver. S&W 5" 686.
Any ideas?

I use the Safariland Model 002 with my 6" 686 for USPSA. Here is the link: Model 002 "Cup Challenge" Competition Holster | Safariland.
Should work. The revolver rests on the trigger guard and cylinders.
Good Luck,

I use a Hoyt Break Front, the same one I carried for 20 years as a cop. Not the same belt though, seems my wife washed the one I use to wear in hot water and it shrunk since I retired.

You might want to check the ICORE rulebook. There are holsters that are OK for IPSC, that may not be allowed for ICORE, at least if you go by their rule book. Other holsters I have seen at IPSC matchs would be allowed under ICORE rules. Like I said check the ICORE rule book, as well as the latest USPSA rule book.

I use the Safariland with my 6" 686 for USPSA and Midway has them for $62 now. The drawback on this holster is the height of the grip. The suede lining is not as slick as Kydex either.
It was also very tight and needed to be loosened up before I could use it. I left a chunk of 2x4 in it for a while, heat from a hair dryer could help too.
For a shorter gun, 4", I might go with a BladeTech dropped and offset holster in the same price range. I use those for my autos.
I know people who have switched to CRspeed, it will work with barrels 4-6", but that runs about $180.
The Safariland 002 works, been using it for a year and I would suggest it for the price.

I use an 002 for ICORE as well. I had to use a hair dryer to heat it up and bend it when new. Way too tight out of the box.
