Hopefully this is the best place for this instead of the ammo section. I'm a newcomer to PPC and just started breaking into the revolver side of the house after getting everything sorted out for the semi-auto stuff. Through all my research I've got a pretty good starting point for reloads for the 1500 and stock matches but what I do not see discussed much is the ammo for the Distinguished Revolver match. According to rule 3.16.2 it "Must be from a licensed manufacturer, new issue, .38 Special, round nose or semi-wadcutter ammunition." We're issued factory 130gr. Winchester which does "okay" in the 6" 686 I'm using but I'd like to hear from some of the experience here in hopes of narrowing down my choices to try out. Thanks!
