Default Performance center 1911 in IDPA

Should be receiving my Performance center 1911 soon and would like to use it in IDPA some day. I have seen it advertised as competition ready for IDPA but have seen posts on other forums disputing this. Has there been any official ruling from IDPA for this particular pistol? Thanks, Mark Edens

SKU#?
In general, S&W 1911s in .45 ACP fit right into IDPA Custom Defensive Pistol (CDP).
My 1911 Pro .45 meets all requirements.

The only problem for IDPA (not for USPSA) I have seen is cutouts in slides which may have been modified guns.

I researched "Are pistols with extensive FACTORY slide cuts legal", and here is the answer from IDPA HQ:

Yes. With respect to slide machining, SSP, ESP and CDP, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) firearms with extensive slide machining are approved for use in IDPA if they meet all other requirements for their respective Divisions. For slide machining, an OEM product is defined as a complete firearm product, with specific model part numbers or sku’s catalogued as stock items by the manufacturer and have a minimum annual production of 2,000 units for that specific model
