Went to a USPSA today
Went to a USPSA shoot for the first time today to observed. I Like what I seen, going to give it a try next Sunday.
Our local gun club are holding them inside a nice building, stages where set up nice. I was told this was the first winter they started having USPSA competition shoots indoors.

Sounds like a good way to spend a Sunday. Especially if that Sunday is in the height of a Michigan winter!

I am more of an IDPA guy these days, but if you have the chance to have some fun indoors, I say go for it and enjoy.

The indoor range I belong to has a indoor shoot once a month and does a low light stage. The first time they held it they shut off all the lights but the Range Safety Officer was not happy when he could see where muzzles were pointing. The local club uses this night as a warm up for the weekend match. Don

Indoor range in Florida?? The only question I have is: Why? Is it air conditioned? I can see an indoor range in Minnesota but Florida. (Don, I hope you realize I'm just kidding ).
The outdoor season runs year round up here in the NW corner. A couple of the ranges take Dec and Jan off, but there are still a couple of outdoor matches in those two months. I don't usually do them because I don't like standing out in the rain (I know, I'm becoming a wussie). But come Feb 6th, I'll be outside rain or shine. Competition shooting is my retirement activity.
