Default A better day shooting Steel Challenge

Went to a match today and I was excited. I beat last months score by over 100 seconds. That was my goal today.

Total is still not anywhere need what I could do before the wheelchair. My best time is 96 seconds.
Today was 192.37. I improved on all but Speed Option. Guess I was trying to go too fast.

Next months goal is to break 150 and then I'll work from there. Since I'm almost walking again I think I can easily improve on todays score.

I brought my caregiver and let her shoot my S&W 22a with a red dot. She did fantastic for her first match and wants to continue shooting. I told her she could use my 22a as long as she wants. Now I just need to get her to buy her own ammo.

Hang in there. One of our better shooters took 5 years to come back from a plane crash. I always said shooting is good therapy, and even the lowest score beat everybody that didn't show up.

AzShooter, Good to hear that you are competing and in a wheelchair. That is terrific to hear as friend of mine was asking if they allowed that. I believe most places will as long as you can do it safely. I applaud you for doing it and hope you will be walking real soon. And getting your caregiver involved is just as they say, "Icing on the cake". Best of luck to you in the future, and with your attitude, I'm positive your times will be where you want them before you know it.
