Default Optics for 41 PC

I've been using an Ultradot Matchdot II on my 41 PC for weekly bullseye league. Nothing wrong with the Ultradot itself but it sits too high and too far forward. The balance is all wrong. I'm thinking of replacing the Matchdot II with the plain - Jane Ultradot 1" tube, less bulky and I don't need the multiple reticles and other features on the II version anyway. I've read some threads recommending ditching the rings supplied with the Ultradot and replacing with lower rings. Sounds good, closer to the bore the better. Who makes low rings that will fit the basic Ultradot? I think the tube is 25mm?

Here's mine with 1" Ultradot and low Weaver mounts. The scope can't get lower to the scope mount I'm using. Not the most stylish rings, but they work great.

Not a 41 user, prefer High Standard.
I went to the Ultradot HD Micro.
No rings. As low as you can go.
2 MOA is perfect for indoor rimfire matches.

I purchased a 1" Ultradot from a shooter on Bullseye-L forum, it came with low Burris Zee rings. Zeroed it today and so far I like it a lot better. I'd rather the rings were aluminum but we'll see how it does next match. Balance much improved for sure.
