Default BUG match

Shot my M&P 9c today in a BUG match & had a blast. Scored in the upper 3D, should have done better, but rushed a few shots & it cost me.

Usually don't shoot the compact and was reminded why I bought it over other options. Overall a great gun. Its stock except for Ameriglo CAP sights.

Will have to shoot it more this year......

Matches are a lot of fun.....But one bad stage can send totally ruin your chances of placing well lol. I've had those stages where I lost track of which target I was on while I was reloading or just drew a mental blank as soon as the buzzer went off as to what the plan for the stage was.

Either way, it's fun!

I have been running a G35 in Defensive Pistol lately. When I go to BUG with my G27 you have to be on your game a little more. I can stay on steel silhouettes pretty well, but plates are a lot more of a challenge with a short sight radius.

Chief I know what you mean. Last months Defensive Pistol Match we had one very busy Stage. We had a Reactive Pepper Popper that brought up a D1 silhouette when it went over, and another Pepper Popper that tripped a Drop and Turn D1 Silhouette. The Poppers go over so slow that you needed to be shooting another silhouette while it was falling, then back to the Reactive Target. You could not be off on the Drop and Turn or it could be a 2 shot Miss. We had a few long bullet holes where the silhouette was going around when hit. That is cutting it close.

For those interested in the match, a write up was published in the Dillon Blue Press. I was on Duane's squad & took the picture of him shooting from the car

Enjoy
