Default Choices, choices ....

I'm torn between my S&W .357 snubs and my 1911s for IDPA, especially my most recent 1911, a Remington Enhanced CMD in .45 ACP.

It's moot as to which I shoot better or faster, but I admit that I can reload the 1911s faster with fewer chances for a bobble. But the snubs are soooo much more fun to shoot!

Oddly, today I pitted the CMD against my Gold Cup and an R1 with a really sweet trigger pull, better than my Gold Cup.

I shoot the CMD better and faster with the same 200 gr SWC and powder charge. Go figure .....

I've been happy with my e series smith 1911. More comfortable w/ it than my Sig nightmare.

Although, I prefer my wheelgun for IDPA......
